Privacy Policy

General
The operator of this website as named in the legal details (“we”) is deemed the “service provider” (Diensteanbieter) for the purposes of the German Telemedia Act (Telemediengesetz) and the “controller” (verantwortliche Stelle) for the purposes of the German Federal Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz).

This privacy policy explains what happens to the personal data that we collect through our website or through services offered on it, such as projects, events, newsletters and competitions (collectively: “online services”).

We only store personal data collected through the use of our online services if you actively disclose them to us, for example by registering, contacting us, entering a competition or subscribing to a newsletter.

In processing and using your personal data (e.g. first name, surname, address, telephone number, email address and age), we always adhere to the relevant German data protection regulations, particularly those in the Telemedia Act and Data Protection Act.

Use of email addresses and other contact details; rights of objection and withdrawal
We can use the email address you entered during registration or during execution of a contract for sending you information about other Konradin goods and services, or informing you about our online services.

If you no longer wish to receive this information, you can object in writing – by post, fax or email – to your personal data being used in this way, at no expense to you apart from the standard cost of sending a letter, fax or email.

Notwithstanding this, at various points on our website you can register to receive newsletters or other information. The contact data you give us will only be used for the purpose indicated. If you wish, you can maintain your anonymity by using a pseudonym and web-based email address of your choice. Newsletters contain up-to-date information and offers from Konradin and sometimes from third parties also.

You can of course unsubscribe from newsletters and withdraw your consent for, or object to, the use of your data for advertising purposes at any time, with future effect.

Transfer of data to third parties
Your personal data may be disclosed or transferred to a third party if you use a service on our website (e.g. participate in an event or project or enter into a contract) that is clearly offered by, or in collaboration with, another company, provided that you gave your explicit consent for the transfer, or that the German Data Protection Act permits it.

In some cases we outsource the processing of data to a third-party service provider, who will always be bound by both our instructions and the provisions of the German Data Protection Act, and who cannot use the data for any purpose other than the specified one.

Right of access and other rights
You are entitled to request information about the data we hold about you, to correct any errors in your data, and to ask for your data to be deleted or blocked. You can object at any time to our use of your data. However, statutory rules about the retention of information sometimes mean that we are not able to delete your data completely. Please contact our Data Protection Officer in this regard:
